El reguetonero puertorriqueño es seguido por Beyoncé, Taylor Swift y Drake con seis postulaciones cada uno.Por su parte, Harry Styles, Adele y The Weeknd se quedaron con cinco nominaciones cada uno. Este año se sumaron las categorías Artista Favorito de K-Pop, Artista Afrobeats, Canción Rock y Álbum Rock.
La entrega de los American Music Awards 2022 se realizará el próximo 20 de noviembre desde el Microsoft Theater en Los Ángeles, California.
